I traveled to Israel in May for the Forbes Under30 Global Summit. It was an amazing cultural experience as well as a very purposeful trip since the team at Forbes planned an amazing trip for Summit attendees.
The 2nd to last night of the trip, Forbes planned a food and bar crawl in the Jerusalem Market. I was pleasantly surprised a Latina restaurant in the market, Pepitos Latin Street Food. As you walked into the restaurant you could see both the Colombian and Venezuelan flags over the counter with the Israel flag in the middle. What was most memorable to me was that on the restaurant wall was the image of an Afro-Latin woman with her hair wrapped and a cigar in her hand....SO AMAZING!
